These Terms govern your use of cookwithasimi.online and its Room creator hub (the "Service"), operated by Cook With Asimi ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Cook With Asimi is a multi-tenant recipe and video hub. Creators operate their own "Room" — publishing recipes, videos, and media — and members can follow Rooms, like/save recipes, leave reviews and comments, and build collections. Some browsing is available without an account.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity under your account.
- Room ("Creator") accounts are currently invite-based; member sign-up is open to the public.
- You must be at least 13 (or your local minimum age) to create an account.
- You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for anyone you invite as a Room collaborator.
3. Your Content
- You keep ownership of the recipes, media, comments, and reviews you post.
- By posting, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as part of operating the Service (e.g., showing your recipe on your Room page and in feeds).
- You confirm you have the rights to post what you submit, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.
- We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
4. Room Owner Responsibilities
If you operate a Room, you're responsible for the content published under it, for moderating comments and reviews on your recipes, and for any promotions or ads you run through the Service. We may pause or remove a Room that violates these Terms, receives repeated valid complaints, or is inactive or abandoned.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Post unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or harassing content.
- Attempt to bypass moderation, scrape the Service at scale, or interfere with its normal operation.
- Use another person's account, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with a Room.
- Use API keys or webhooks for anything other than integrating your own Room's own data.
6. Paid Features
Some Room features may require a paid subscription tier. Fees, billing cycles, and refund terms will be shown at the time of purchase and are processed by [Payment processor name]; by subscribing, you also agree to that processor's terms.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with, or lets you connect, third-party services — Google Sign-In, Google Drive/Dropbox/OneDrive import, and embedded YouTube/Vimeo/TikTok/Instagram content. We aren't responsible for those services' availability, content, or practices, which are governed by their own terms.
8. Developer / API Access
If your Room is issued an API key or webhook, you agree to use it only within its granted scope, keep credentials confidential, and comply with any published rate limits. We may revoke keys that are misused or compromised.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service itself (excluding user content) — including its design, code, and branding — belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
10. Disclaimers
The Service, and any recipe, nutrition, or health-related information on it, is provided "as is" for general informational purposes only, without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee accuracy of nutrition data, uninterrupted availability, or that content is error-free. Recipes and ingredient suggestions are not medical or dietary advice — consult a professional for dietary restrictions or health conditions.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cook With Asimi will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or $100 if you paid nothing).
12. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts or Rooms that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of [Jurisdiction], unless applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to a different venue.
